One of my favourite challenges at Streetwise Opera is attempting to capture the energy and passion of our music-making workshops through photography. How do you trap that bustling and irreverent spirit within the confines of a flat image? It seems almost an impossible task; but I do love to try!

I visited the third session led by composer Nicolas Lewis in Manchester. The workshop at Nexus Art Cafe was packed, and each participant brought tonnes of joy and creativity. These images are my attempt to capture some of the magic of this session.
